Fashion Talks Singapore 2013

Gain invaluable insights into the creative visions, inspirations and aspirations to build successful brands outside the traditional, powerful and established fashion houses at the inaugural Fashion Talks Singapore 2013 on 5 April at LASALLE College of Arts.

This forum, backed by sponsors such as MasterCard, features prominent international designers from fashion and jewellery houses of Paris, Milan, London or New York as well as independent designers.

For the very first time in Singapore, experts Peter Copping and Pamela Golbin will share their views on the contemporary Fashion World.

Peter Copping, Nina Ricci’s Creative Director has been working in the Paris fashion scene for fifteen years and has been involved in capturing the essence of Ricci’s femininity through a youthful, graceful style via subtly pared-back, playful sensuality.  Peter Copping will also be presenting Nina Ricci’s Fall/Winter collection at the annual Passion Ball at the St. Regis Ballroom on 6 April.   The Passion Ball, already in its ninth instalment, is an annual philanthropic gala event held in support of Food From The Heart – a non-profit charity that distributes unsold bread and food to the needy in Singapore.

The inaugural talk is organised by Olga Iserlis, director of TWISE, who has been behind top level high profile lifestyle and major charity events for more than 15 years. Commenting on what drove her to bring Fashion Talks to Singapore, Olga shared: “Fashion and the Arts are close to my heart, and I am always looking at ways to bring educational events in the Fashion and Arts scene to Singapore. This is yet another valuable platform to help the general public and various members in the industry – from fashion and art students, designers to stylists – gain more insight into the top level international fashion world.”
