At the press conference to usher in the inaugural Social Star Awards and Singapore Social Concerts organised by Starcount, PSY made an appearance at the press conference held on 22 May 2013 in Singapore. PSY who was previously in Singapore for a showcase at Marina Bay Sands in December last year, is in town for a nomination in the Most Popular Music Solo Artist category as well as to perform at the Singapore Social Concerts on 24 May 2013 together with other artistes including CeeLo Green, Carly Rae Jepsen and Blush.
The Korean record breaking Youtube musician is the man behind the worldwide hit ‘Gangnam style’. He thanked his fans in Singapore for their rousing support. “Singapore was one of the hottest country (in terms of reception) for my new single ‘Gentleman’ and I want to pay back by delivering my first performance of ‘Gentleman’ here.” Fans of PSY, do keep a look out for this highly anticipated performance.
