REVIEW: MALEFICENT Without Spoilers

MALEFICENT movie review

Adapted from the classic story of Disney’s Sleep Beauty, Maleficent tells the story from the Mistress of All Evil point of view and revealing the hidden side of the original plot.

Played by Angelina Jolie, Maleficent could now be crowned the most gorgeous and mesmerizing Evil Queen of all time. Together with the superb computer rendering bringing the enchanted land and its creatures to life, these reasons will be good enough for you to buy a ticket to the theatres this weekend.

The plot is very straight forward with minor twists. But I guess this movie is suppose to target both children and adults so it has to be less complicated for less explanation to the kids. And I foresee this year’s Halloween there will be more Maleficents roaming the streets, the order for fake cheek bones & horns will be on the rise.

I would give Maleficent a 3 out of 5. If you have not caught X-Men: Days Of Future Past, I think you should go for that before Maleficent.

  1. I have been waiting for this! Only 3 out of 5? Hmm, shall adjust my expectations. Vivienne Jolie-Pitt is so cute in the last photo.
