The Celebrity Chef Series let foodies in Singapore experience intimate dinners and cooking demonstrations by the celebrity Chef Chuck.  We were fortunate to be able to witness Chef Chuck prepare a lobster dish at the AFC Studio at Orchard Central.

Chuck is also the host of the cooking show, ‘Chuck’s Day Off’.   He had his arms tattooed with his favourite food like Lemon Meringue Pie, Arugula Leaves and even “275” to remind him what temperature to set on the oven when he bakes. In “Chuck’s Day Off”, Chef Chuck cooks for friends, family or suppliers on the day his restaurant was closed. Sandwiched in between the mouth-watering recipes, get a unique insight behind the scenes of one of Montreal’s hottest restaurants.

Chef Chuck Hughes’ show, “Chuck’s Day Off” is currently airing on Starhub’s AFC channel (ch 453)

Btw, the tattoo he has of 275 is the perfect temperature for frying potato chips not the temperature of the oven he bakes 🙂 just letting you know!
