Dita Von Teese, Cointreau’s Ambassador To Visit Singapore

30 August 2011, Singapore – When Burlesque is mentioned, no one  other than the renowned Dita Von Teese comes to mind.  Dubbed as “the Queen of Burlesque”, Dita began performing burlesque in 1992.    Some of her more famous dances included carousel horse, giant powder compact, a filigree heart and a clawfoot bathtub with a working shower head as props.  She also used the world’s largest feather fans in one of her dances which is currently on display in Hollwood’s Museum of Sex.    She has appeared as a guest star in the Parisian Crazy Horse cabaret club and on America’s Next Top Model/

Borned as Heather Renée Sweet in September 1972 in Rochester, Michigan, USA, Dita Von Tesse is a burlesque model, artist and actress who was previously married to Marilyn Manson from 2005 to 2007.  She is also a trained costume designer.    It is said that Dita had reduced her natural waistline to 56 cm and can be laced down as far as 42 cm.  She is 165 cm tall and weighs 52 kg.

Shuttling between Hollwood and Paris, Dita will be in Singapore from 20 to 23 October in the capacity as Cointreau’s Global Brand Ambassador to host a Cointreauversial Party on 21 October at Sky Bar, Resorts World Sentosa for invited guests Cointreau customers as well as to stage a special performance of her famed Burlesque Cointreauversial Show at Zirca, Clark Quay.     What’s more, besides getting up close and personal with Dita, guests also get to enjoy the range of Cointreau Cocktails specially-created by Dita.
