EZ-Link app to top up ez-link cards via NFC

Now you can top up your ez-link cards with NFC handsets in preset values of S$5, S$10, S$20 or S$30. Today EZ-Link launched My EZ-Link Mobile that allows you  to reload your ez-Ink cards on the go, view your last 30 transactions, view card balance and manage multiple ez-Iink cards.

My EZ-Link Mobile allows top up of ez-Iink cards That are issued by EZ-Link except for Standard Tickets, Park & Ride tickets and Concession Cards not issued by EZ-Link. EZ-Link cobranded bank cards as well as PASSION Card by People’s Association will also qualify for top ups.

EZ-Link has partnered Wirecard AG to develop the app as well as MasterCard as the preferred card. McAfee will aid EZ-Link in promoting online vigilance by offering My EZ-Link Mobile app users with the McAfee Mobile Security software at an exclusive introductory price or a free trial.

My EZ-Link Mobile app can be downloaded for free from Google Play store. A convenience fee of S$0.30 per top up will be waived from today till 31 May 2014 for MasterCard cardholders.

You can use this service with the following NFC Android phones –

Samsung – Galaxy Ace 3 with LTE, Galaxy Express, Galaxy SIII, Galaxy S III with LTE, Galaxy Note II with LTE, Galaxy S4 with LTE

Sony – Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z

LG – G2, Optimus G Pro

To encourage consumers to use the app, Food Junction will offer discounts and complimentary Christmas specials at participating outlets. All you need to do is flash your smartphones with the My EZ-Link Mobile app to enjoy these privileges.
