Earlier tonight, close to 900 people took part in the lululemon athletica organised event, Yoga Beat at Orchard Road. Orchard Road turned into a large open air studio where participants practised with lululemon ambassadors, Lynn Yeo and Sumei Shum of space+light yoga, AntiGravity yoga instructor trainer Thicha and Seattle-based yoga teacher, Patrick Beach of Beachyoga. DJ Koflow and rapper Kevin Lester provided the hip-hop beats.

Orchard Road was closed tonight from 6 to 11pm as part of Pedestrian Night @ Orchard Road, a six-month pilot project to encourage a car-free Orchard Road.
