IN GOOD COMPANY (FB) marks a milestone with a standalone store at ION Orchard on 21 August 2015. It is a conceptual lifestyle retail store showcasing its core ready-to-wear women-wear, accessories, Mini Me for girls, and a café in partnership with the famous Plain Vanilla Bakery.
Since its beginnings, it has garnered a cult following for their wardrobe essentials of reinvented classics. These pieces are not only made to last beyond seasons, but also follows in-trend colours paired with understated yet loud accessories.
The space also acts as a thoughtful retail space linking products and creative collaborations. There will be curated magazine titles from Magpie, homegrown fiction and poems published by Math Paper Press and laundry-centric products from independent Australian brand, Mr. Black.
What caught my attention (and many others) were the new totes from Hong Kong-based leather-smiths, Hoiming. Perfect to showcase your own quirky personality or as a gift for friends, their emoji-inspired totes are designed to be functional and adorable. Of course, their famed triangle leather pouches will also be available in varying sizes.
Relax after a productive shop at their deli-style IN GOOD COMPANY café managed by Plain Vanilla Bakery. It will boast an extended menu beyond their famed bakes. There will be homemade granola, yoghurt bowls with walnut crumble and agave nectar, speciality grilled sandwiches such as Prosciutto & Truffle on Ciabatta or Watercress Egg Aioli on homemade Brioche. Looks like I will no longer have to travel far to get a taste of their heartfelt comfort food (with a good cuppa joe along with it).
IN GOOD COMPANY is located at ION Orchard #B1-06, 2 Orchard Turn, Singapore 238801. They are opened from 1030AM to 0930PM daily. The café will operate along with the store, and opens officially on 30 August 2015.
