The Limited Edt M577LEV is the grand finale to a trilogy collaboration between New Balance and Singapore’s premier sneaker purveyors, Limited Edt, that has spanned over 6 years. The Singapore release of Limited Edt M577LEV will see an exclusive edition of 240 pairs that come in an individually numbered special hard plastic display case. The New Balance x Limited Edt M577LEV will be released in Singapore at Limited Edt Queensway, Vault and Chamber from this Saturday, 11 October 2014 at S$349 and globally on 25 October 2014.
In 2008 collaboration, the design inspiration came from Limited Edt’s original concept store at Singapore’s busy Orchard Road shopping district, the Vault in 2010, was based on their upmarket Chamber concept store at Marina Bay Sands. Now in 2014, they’ve taken things back to their roots and have gone full circle by returning to their Queensway Shopping Centre boutique, a location that is known as the go-to place for sporting goods in Singapore and where Limited Edt set up their first sneaker boutique.
The Limited Edt M577LEV is made in New Balance’s legendary Flimby factory, located in Cumbria, England, where craftsmanship and quality takes precedence. The shoe features only the finest premium materials. The upper contains a mix of nubuck leathers and 3M reflective panels. The bold mix of royal blue and flash orange colour is from Limited Edt Queensway’s interior decor and sports-inspired logo.
