lululemon is finally opening its first retail store in Asia at ION Orchard, Singapore on 14 December 2014. lululemon, the yoga-inspired athletic apparel brand will open the 3,700 square feet store with a large array of sports apparel for both men and women. A much larger collection compared to temporary lululemon showrooms seen across Asia will be available.
lululemon will have a opening celebration at the store this Sunday, where you are invited to experience sunrise yoga at 8.30am, fruit juices and essential oil sampling while shopping to the tunes of DJ Amanda Ling throughout the day.
For fans who have been shopping online or direct from the lululemon stores in US, we did a quick check on the price difference:
lululemon 105 F Singlet Silverscent cost USD$52 (without shipping) from the online store while lululemon Singapore cost SGD$82. So the price difference is close to S$14 for one item if current conversion for USD$52 is SGD$68.30.
Do your sums first depending on the number of pieces that you would be purchasing as you may be better off purchasing on line. That’s also if you are not in a hurry.
lululemon will also be hosting weekly complimentary community exercise classes for guests beginning in 2015 in partnership with lululemon ambassadors – like Lynn Yeo, Sumei Shum, Alicia Pan and many more.
