London-based label Peter Pilotto, led by dynamic design duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos, has a lot to cheer for this season. Their acclaimed love for prints has helped them take home the winning honours for the first inaugural Swarovski Collective Award, along with the €25,000 and a year-long crystal product and financial support from Swarovski.
The unique aesthetics of their winning SS’15 and FW’15 collection features classic silhouettes in vibrant and contrasting use of colours and textures. The symmetrical motifs, signature of the brand, comes alive with Swarovski’s finest – complimenting and giving it a stunning three-dimensional effect.
Since Fall 2010, they have been dressing up their acclaimed digital prints – from embellished floral jacquards to their recent chic floral appliques. Still, they cited that they are “not at the end of the journey with Swarovski”, and are looking forward to what the crystals can bring to their label.
The Swarovski Collective will continue its 15th Anniversary celebration with a special exhibition and event held in partnership with Dazed during London Fashion Week in September, and will also return for the SS’16 runway collections.
Applications are now open for the Swarovski Collective 2016, The application form inviting entries for the Swarovski Collective 2016 can be found here at www.SwarovskiCollective.com.
