Buffet Alert: Go Eurasian at Town Restaurant

The Fullerton Hotel Singapore - Eurasian Heritage buffet 2 (Oct 2013)Good Eurasian cuisine is hard to come by in Singapore. Well at least for me. It is not something that I come across often but Town Restaurant at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore is serving up popular dishes from the Eurasian heritage for a limited time only till 26 October.  For only 10 days, Eurasian Sou Chef Sunny De Costa has whipped up dishes using his very own family recipes that has been passed down through different generations. So you better hurry and not miss out this opportunity to have a taste of Eurasian heritage.

Served as part of Town Restaurant’s existing buffet spread, you can expect the popular Devil’s Curry (Debal Galinhia) prepared with fresh and dried chilli, blue ginger, lime juice, candlenut and mustard seed cooked with Smoked Bacon Bone and Sausages. You can also expect spices and condiments including Assam, sambal belachan, lemongrass, ginger, garlic and onions in the dishes offering a spicy, tangy and satisfying experience.

Other Eurasian dishes to sink your teeth into include the Eurasian style Baked Seafood, Stir-Fried French Beans with Shrimps and Bean Curd, Roasted Whole Chicken with Debal Spices and Vegetables and Pesce Sambal Tambreneu. Eurasian desserts such as the Sugee Cake (a semolina butter cake), pineapple tarts, as well as other local desserts will be available for you to end your meal on a sweet note.

Town Restaurant’s Eurasian Heritage Buffet is available from 11.30am to 2.30pm From Monday to Friday and from 6.30pm to 10.30pm on Sundays to Tuesdays at S$53++ per adult and S$26++ per child age 6 to 11 years old.
