The Noma at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo will now be open from 9 January to 14 February 2015 except for Sundays. The pop up restaurant has been extended for two more weeks due to overwhelming demand. The world’s number restaurant moves to Tokyo for a limited time and this may just be your chance to check out Chef René Redzepi’s menu.

Waitlisted customers will be contacted and given first priority to book over the next five business days after which new reservations will be accepted from 17 October 2014.

Lunch and private dining room bookings for both lunch and dinner are being accepted at http://noma.dk/japan. Lunch at Noma at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo is priced at JPY40,200 per person plus tax and service charge.

You can also make reservations for Mandarin Oriental Tokyo’s accommodation package which comes with accommodation and dinner for two guests and breakfast and a special commemorative gift at JPY 154,000 plus tax and service charge at at www.mandarinoriental.com/tokyo.

The menu has yet to be determined. Chef René Redzepi and his team are being supported by Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo’s chefs. They are currently in Japan to learn about the Japanese cuisine and searching for a variety of Japanese ingredents for the menu.
