FIRST LOOK: Samsung GALAXY Note Edge

 

Samsung expands its flagship GALAXY Note series with the new Samsung GALAXY Note 4 and Samsung GALAXY Note Edge. Having tried the new devices here at the Samsung Unpacked 2014 in Berlin, I feel the new GALAXY Note series devices are now built for both lifestyle & work. The Galaxy Note Edge’s unique curved Edge screen provides a distinctive look to the device and allows quick access for frequently used apps, alerts and device functionality all with the swipe of a thumb.

The Samsung GALAXY Note Edge will be available in Charcoal Black and Frost White in select markets later this year.

The GALAXY Note Edge is a head turner with its unique look and offers more screen spaces for video & camera apps as the function buttons have all been shifted to the curve edge screen. You can also receive notifications directly on the Edge Screen while watching videos without disturbing your viewing.

From initial first looks at the Samsung launch during the week of IFA 2014 in Berlin, the GALAXY Note Edge has the same specifications (except for the screen display) with the new Samsung GALAXY Note 4 which is swift and intuitive. It definitely has a more lifestyle & sexier look than the GALAXY Note 4. But it all goes down to how much more do you need to pay for that sexy curve edge when it is released in the market later this year.
