A fan of Japanese anime One Piece? You’ll be delighted that McDonald’s Singapore will be offering fans a series of collectibles. Nine figurine designs will be on sale island-wide from 17 November at S$2.95 each with the purchase of an Extra Value Meal. You can purchase one figurine per Extra Value Meal ordered. There is also a limited edition, build-it-yourself paper model of One Piece’s iconic “Thousand.Sunny”.
Two new designs will be launched weekly from 17 November to 8 December 2014.
- Get Zoro and Robin from 17 November
- Get Franky and Chopper from 24 November
- Get Sanji and Brook from 1 December
- Get Luffy, Usopp, Nami and “Thousand.Sunny” paper model ship from 8 December
McDonald’s has also organised an Instagram contest from now till 21 November 2014 in search of Singapore’s top One Piece fans. Submit your One Piece-themed images on Instagram and hashtag #McDSGOnePiece. You photo can include photos of your memorabilia collection, cosplay activities and the first two figurines to be launched at McDonald’s.
The 30 most creative images will be picked by McDonald’s. The contributors will be invited to an exclusive One Piece Fan Appreciation Party on 28 November. The top two fans will be selected by McDonald’s based on their knowledge of the Japanese anime at the party and will each walk away with a pair of three day passes to the Anime Festival Asia, Singapore.
