Cebu Pacific Flies 70 Millionth Passenger

16 November 2012, Philippines – Philippines national flag carrier Cebu Pacific flew its 70 millionth passenger yesterday.  21 year old Jalaluddin from Tawi Tawi, the southernmost part of the Philippines flew from Manila to Zamboanga and was awarded 70 free domestic flights for being the lucky 70 millionth passenger.

Cebu Pacific bases majority of its operations in Manila and hubs in Cebu, Clark, Iloilo, Kalibo and Davao.   The airline expects to end the year with the largest fleet in the Philippines, expecting delivery of seven Airbus A320 and two A330 aircraft next year.

Cebu Pacific is also offering a 75% off seat sale to its 32 Philippine and 19 international destinations till 17 November 2012 or until seats last for travel from 1 January to 31 March 2013.

International destinations on sale include Bangkok, Beijing, Brunei, Busan, Guangzhou, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Incheon, Jakarta, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Osaka, Shanghai, Siem Reap, Singapore, Taipei and Xiamen.
