Etihad Airways and Pakistan International Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement offering enhanced connections between United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and beyond.
Etihad Airways will place the EY code on PIA flights between Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Abu Dhabi. Pakistan International Airlines will place the PK Code on Etihad Airways’ flights between Abu Dhabi and Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore and PK code will also be added to Etihad Airways flights from Abu Dhabi to destinations on Eithad Airways network.
The two airlines are exploring options for members of their frequent flyer programs to earn and burn miles when using codeshare flights.
The first flight will take off on 27 July 2015. Travellers can book flights from today via travel agents or through the airlines’ sales offices and contact centres.
