Etihad Airways receives its second batch of butlers after an intensive training programme in the Savoy Academy in London. The 12 men and women have worked as food and beverage managers on board the airline’s long haul fleet graduated this week at a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi.
These fine individuals have learned from from the Savoy’s Head Butler, Sean Davoren skills on international protocol and etiquette, VIP Guest Care, valet skills and organising travel arrangements. They had to train in various departments of the Savoy Hotel followed by an attachment shadowing the famous establishment’s own world-renowned butlers.
They are now fully qualified to join the first batch of butlers to attend to guests staying in The Residence by Etihad on board the airline’s Airbus A380 aircraft.
