Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali will take over the all-suite beachfront resort which is currently the Regent Bali by December 2014. The property, which is owned by PT Pancaran Kreasi Adiprima, will be Fairmont’s first resort in Indonesia ahead of the opening of Fairmont Jakarta early 2015 and Fairmont Bali, a second property in Bali in 2016.
The Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali is located 25 minutes from the Ngurah Rai International Airport along 200m of Sanur’s beach on the souther part of the island. It is set amid four hectares of tropical gardens.
There are 94 suites and 26 one, two and three-bedroom pool villas. Other facilities include two restaurants, a lobby lounge, a 55m infinity lap pool, fitness centre, a spa and kid’s club.
Fairmont also recently signed agreements to open new hotels in Kuala Lumpur and in China cities including Nanning, Suzhou and Zhengzhou. Fairmont Hotels and Resorts in Asia include Fairmont Singapore, Fairmont Makati, Fairmont Beijing, Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai, Kunshan’s Fairmont Yangcheng Lake and Fairmont Nanjing.
The Regent Hotels & Resorts will cease management of the resort from 1 October 2014. Existing guest reservations will not be affected during the brand transition but reservations of the resort through Regent Hotels & Resorts website will not be available after 30 September 2014.
