Hilton Worldwide is empowering guests with control over their hotel stay. They can check-in or choose their room from digital floor plans, or purchase upgrades and make special requests for items to be delivered to their room, on their mobile devices, tablets and computers. Guests will need to log on with the Hilton HHonors accounts to access this.
By end this year, guests can check-in digitally and select their rooms when staying at any of the over 4,000 Hilton Worldwide properties across 11 brands in over 80 countries.
We had the chance to use the Conrad Concierge last year when we stayed at the Conrad Tokyo. We used it to order toiletries as well as checked out its other functions. You could also order breakfast, eggs and how you want your eggs done at anytime and anywhere.
What impressed me most was I could request for aromatherapy oils when I was out touring Tokyo and specify when I wanted the aromatherapy burner to be lighted so that I could return to a scented room.
The Conrad Concierge was launched in 2012 after a pilot for an initial version of the digital check-in more than five years ago.
