From 1 October 2014, Hong Kong Disneyland will immerse in bright vivid lightings and a brand new seasonal “Disney Paint The Night” parade every evening leading up to the season of giving in December.

For their first ever full LED float parade, the production team took two years to in the making and promises not just a vibrant feast for the eyes, but also immersive interactivity that lets you literally change the colours of the performers’ costumes at the touch of a button on Mickey Magic Paint Brush merchandise.

The floats can also ‘talk’ to all other magic-enabled merchandise items, including “Mickey Glow Mitt” and “Minnie Glow Bow” and change the colours of the items to give you a chance to really become a part of the parade. With a total of seven unique float units and more than 740,000 of lights, it will bring to life various Disney and Disney∙Pixar stories in unexpected and thrilling ways, illuminating the whole parade route every night.

The themed floats will be consist of Tinker Bell Opening Unit, Monsters Inc. Unit, Cars Unit, The Little Mermaid Unit, Belle Candlelight Unit, Toy Story Unit, Mickey & Friends Finale Unit.

On every Fridays to Sundays in October, prepare to explore the creepy & mysterious side of Hong Kong Disneyland with “Disney’s Haunted Halloween” nights, featuring all-new shows such as “Horrors of the Amazon” and “Sideshow Carnival Extraordinaire”.

The all new “Horrors of the Amazon” will be staged at the Theatre in the Wild and will feature the adventurer Jonas Brisbane who tells thrilling stories of his adventures in The Amazon. His spooky tales and creepy encounters will be sure to fascinate.

The mysterious world of lights seeps across the Park and present a different nighttime atmosphere. In Fantasyland’s Fantasy Garden, Mickey and his friends are ready for a masquerade party in the dark. The popular “Sideshow Extraordinaire” at Adventureland, “Grizzly Gulch Halloween Fair”, “Graves Academy” and “Revenge of the Headless Horseman” will return this year. Over at Toy Story Land, the cannibalized toy “Babyhead” and his two toy friends are residing in dark corners after having escaped from their destructive owner Sid.

Night ticket for Disney’s Haunted Halloween is priced at S$58 (HK$340).

 

Disney’s Sparkling Christmas

 

Starting from 13 November, Hong Kong Disneyland will immerse in the spirit of Christmas at “Disney’s Sparkling Christmas” on Main Street U.S.A. where it will be decorated with a wave of seasonal lights and sparkling ornaments.

For the first time, Frozen’s Queen Elsa and Princess Anna will be greeting visitors and little girls can dress up as Elsa or Anna at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel’s “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique”. And not forgetting the Frozen themed merchandises, food & berveages for a complete Frozen experience.
