Have you gone through the pain of applying for a visa to visit India? The High Commission of India in Singapore does not accept applications for Visas unless you go through one of their processing centres such as VFS Global.

I had to go through a three hour wait just to submit my pre printed application at VFS Global located at Rangoon Road in Singapore. And it didn’t go smoothly as well. I must have missed out the instructions when I filled up the form online to photocopy my Passport and front and back on my Identity Card as well.

However, after that, it was efficient and I got back my passport and Visa within three business days. I was also sent SMSes throughout the process to keep me updated on the status of my Visa Application which was thoughtful and reassuring that my visa was being processed.
