Jet Airways and Alitalia will expand their code share partnership to offer customers connections between India and Italy. The code share has started since 5 July 2014.
Jet Airways will place its marketing code on Alitalia operated flights between Abu Dhabi and Rome and beyond to Bologna, Florence, Naples, Turin, Venice and Verona in Italy. Alitalia will place its code on Jet Airways operated flights between Abu Dhabi and Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi. Alitalia will also place its code on Jet Airways’ flights between Mumbai and Delhi to Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Udaipur.
Both airlines frequent flyer programme will allow members to earn status miles while travelling on these code share flights.
