Jetstar Asia has been flying to Bangkok for 10 years, coinciding with the low cost carrier’s 11th anniversary in the month of May.
Jetstar Asia launched its inaugural flight from Singapore to Bangkok in March 2005 with 14 weekly services. Today there are 35 weekly services. Jetstar Group which comprises Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Australia and New Zealand and Jetstar Pacific, operates up to 52 weekly services a week to Bangkok.
Flights to Bangkok land in Suvarnabhumi Airport. Affordable low fares from S$55 have opened up travel between the two countries. Last year, Jetstar Asia added daily flights from Bangkok to Fukuoka and Jetstar Pacific recently launched flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Bangkok. Jetstar Airways operates up to three weekly return flights from Melbourne to Bangkok and is also the first low cost carrier to fly the B787 Dreamliner in the region into Thailand.
