Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport gets a new 792 sqm Etihad Airways First and Business Class lounge today at Pier C, adjacent to Gate 51. The lounge is split into two levels with an upper level entrance and reception and a lower level lounge.

This new First and Business Class lounge has been designed around the principles of style, space and serenity so that you can enjoy a comfortable environment to relax, re-energise, dine work or be entertained. Apple computers, complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity, multi-zone electrical and USB power outlets, dedicated male, female and accessible bathrooms with shower facilities, children’s play room, male and female prayer rooms and a relaxation zone are some of the features of the lounge. Enjoy restaurant-style a la carte dining and buffet with wines from local Australian vineyards, and other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. You can leave your luggage and jacket in the secure hand luggage storage area and cloaking facilities so you can free your self from them and relax.

Guests flying on Etihad Airways Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class as well as qualified members of Etihad Guest loyalty programme, Virgin Australia Velocity Frequent Flyer Gold and Platinum Members and Virgin Australia Business Class guests flying to Abu Dhabi are able to use the lounge pre flight. Guests from other codeshare and partner airlines flying on Etihad Airways or Virgin Australia operated Sydney-Abu Dhabi services may use the lounge.

Etihad Airways has their own lounges in Abu Dhabi, Dublin, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, Manchester, Paris and Washington DC. Los Angeles, New lounges at New York (JFK) and Melbourne will be expected in the next 12 to 18 months.
