Singapore Changi Airport has once again been voted the World’s best Airport by air travellers for the second year in a row at this year’s 2014 World Airport Awards by SKYTRAX.
In Asia, five airports have made it to top 10 together with four others from Europe and one from Canada.

- Singapore Changi Airport – Also ranked second best Airport Shopping after Heathrow Airport and ahead of the likes of Hong Kong International Airport, Dubai International Airport amongst others. Changi Airport also wins World’s Best Airport for Leisure Activities
- Incheon International Airport – Also World’s Best Airport for International Transit Passengers and World’s Best Airport Immigration Service
- Munich Airport – Best Airport in Europe
- Hong Kong International Airport – World’s Best Airport Dining and World’s Best Airport Baggage Delivery
- Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
- Tokyo International Airport Haneda – World’s Best Domestic Airport and World’s Cleanest Airport
- Beijing Capital International Airport
- Zurich Airport
- Vancouver International Airport
- London Heathrow Airport
The World Airport Awards are the most prestigious accolades for the airport industry. Voted by customers in the largest, annual global airport customer satisfaction survey, the survey and awards process is independent and guaranteed free of any influence or interference in final results. The Awards are based on 12.85 million customer nominations from 110 nationalities of air travellers and included 410 airports globally. There are 39 key performance indicators for airport service and product including check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration as well as departure to gate.
