Boeing gives the public a first look at the demonstration it will be flying at the 2015 Paris Air Show from 15 to 18 June 2015. We wish we could see the real thing but we’ll just have to settle with this new video released on 11 June 2015.

The video was filmed above Moses Lake, Washington featuring technical manoeuvres. We watched the video a few times as we were marvelled by the take off. It looked like it was a 90 degree take off from the runway. The B787-9 aircraft was in the Vietnam Airlines livery

The Boeing 787-9 is the second and newest member of the 787 family with new passenger-pleasing features. The fuselage is stretched 6 metres over the 787-8. It can fly more passengers and more cargo farther yet with the same environmental efficiency – 20% less fuel use and emissions than the airplanes they replace.

Through May this year, 30 customers from around the world have ordered 509 787-9s, 46% of all 787 orders. Now enjoy the video and tell us what you think of it in the comments below. We like to hear your thoughts too.
