25 September 2011, Singapore – At Amber Lounge’s opening night last night, a full capacity crowd was treated to a dramatic Fredrick Lee couture fashion show, 8 F1 drivers and a live performance from Taio Cruz and an awesome party.  Amongst the guests were F1 drivers, global pop stars and Asian supermodels.

F1 drivers swapped race suits for designer suits in front of a glamorous audience.

Jules Bianchi (Scuderia Ferrari), Karun Chandhok (Team Lotus), Romain Grosjean (Lotus Renault GP), Alexander Rossi (Team Lotus), Sakon Yamamoto (Marussia Virgin Racing), Sam Bird (Mercedes), Jan Charouz (Lotus Renault GP) and Robert Wickens (Marussia Virgin Racing) looked suave and sophisticated as they displayed their more stylish sides on the bespoke runway, dressed in Italian designer Canali.

Fifteen flamboyant outfits from Singaporean courtier Frederick were presented.    Seven of the outfits made with colourful feathers, crystal jewellery and statement head pieces – inspired by the F1 driver’s helmets, were specially created limited edition Amber Lounge pieces.

Featered ballerina tutus, clinched in waists and sheer dresses with strategically placed rosettes created a tantalising theatrical fantasy as they descended into floor sweeping wide fishtails below.

UK’s number one solo artist Taio Cruz raised the roof with his smash hit dance single, Little Bad Girl.  The evening continued on to the pumping tunes from Amber Lounge resident Micky and the delights of Luxor, the high quality champagne with real 24 carat gold particles in the bottle.
