From 28 November 2015 to 3 January 2016, Christmas Wonderland 2015 will take place at Gardens By The Bay. Gardens by the Bay promises that it is going to be bigger, better and cooler than last year.
Crowned as Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair, decorated with Italian Luminarie light sculptures throughout the park, an Ice Skating Rink in the Ice Palace, a 14-metre tall Helter Skelter Slide and Christmas choral sessions under a stunning Cassa Armonica gazebo. You do not need to leave Singapore for a spectacular and fun filled Christmas this year.
Christmas Wonderland 2015 Highlights
LUMINARIE (28 Nov 2015 to 3 Jan 2016, 7pm to midnight daily)
You will be greeted by a resplendent display of 56 enchanting Luminarie light sculptures, handmade by Italian craftsmen using white-wood from the south of Italy. These picturesque masterpieces feature an all-new architectural design reminiscent of the medieval period with the tallest towering over 20 metres.
Luminarie Facts In Numbers
It is going to take 4 weeks for 8 Italian craftsmen to complete the Luminaire installation on-site at Gardens By The Bay. An estimate of 7,000 metres of steel cables, 500 poles and 2,500 metres of electrical cables will be used to complete the installation. 165,000 lights bulbs in 5 different colour combinations will be fitted onto the light sculptures of which 80% are energy efficient LED bulbs. The light sculptures will be decorated with 1,000 Luminarie pieces and finally protected from weather using 500 metres of rubber tubing.

SPALLIERA (28 Nov 2015 to 3 Jan 2016, 7pm to midnight daily)
Spalliera is the largest and the center piece of the Luminarie display. It also houses the eight metre tall illuminated gazebo, Cassa Armonica, where choral sessions, theatrical performances and parades that will be held there regularly. In addition, you can experience ‘snow’ in Singapore during Blizzard Time at the Spalliera for at least three times daily.

ICE PALACE (28 Nov to 27 Dec 2015, 4pm to 11pm daily)
An entirely different experience awaits at the Ice Palace over at the Supertree Grove, which offers a cool and refreshing wintry Christmas in the tropics. You can make snow angels, build your very own Olaf at the Snow Playground or choose to unleash their inner Michelle Kwan and glide on ice at the Ice Skating Rink. Temperature in the Ice Palace will be maintained at around 23°C, so you do not need to bring extra warm outer wear to enjoy in the snowy wonderland.
S$12-14 per child/adult for a 30 minute session in the Snow Playground and Ice Skating Rink. Only nine sessions daily, reservation for time slots on-site. 25 pax per session for Snow Playground and 100 pax per session for Ice Skating Rink.
CHRISTMAS TOYLAND FLORAL DISPLAY (21 Nov 2015 to 5 Jan 2016, 9am to 9pm daily)
A brand-new Christmas Toyland floral display will be showcased at the Flower Dome. This year, toys reign supreme amidst yuletide floral favourites like the poinsettia, Christmas rose, winter heather and holly. The centrepiece of Christmas Toyland – an 11-metre-tall Christmas Pyramid decked with toys – will tower over the enchanting floral display. In addition, this multi-tiered traditional German wooden carousel will transform into a ‘live’ stage, hosting a series of festive performances for the very first time in the Flower Field.

THE FAIRGROUND (28 Nov to 27 Dec 2015, 4pm to 11pm daily)
The Fairground offers a delightful array of traditional carnival rides for the first time in Singapore. They include the Helter Skelter – the tallest slide in Singapore, a vintage style carousel and a trackless train. Apart from rides, visitors can also pit their skills at game stalls such as Extreme Basketball, Can Smash and Roll-a-ball. Prizes include memorabilia from Disney and Warner Bros.
You will also be able to hop onto the Swinging Chairs and enjoy the rush of air on your faces while you take in the panoramic sights of the festival grounds.
The rides are priced from S$6-10 per ride.
FESTIVE MARKET (28 Nov to 27 Dec 2015, 4pm to 11pm daily)
The charming European-style Festive Market makes its comeback at the Supertree Grove with more to indulge in. Featuring traditional wooden huts specially brought in from the United Kingdom, you can find a greater selection of international cuisine and wines from renowned food and beverage operators such as Brewerkz, Sebastian, Café Iguana, Shabestan, The Diner by the Travelling C.O.W. and Paul’s. Apart from festive nibbles, the market will also offer a wide variety of Christmas gifts, including new craft items
A visit to Santa’s Cottage completes your Christmas experience. Here’s a chance for little ones to meet Santa Claus and tell him their dearest wishes. Come take a photo with Santa and bring home a one-of-a-kind festive memento.

SPIEGELTENT (28 Nov to 27 Dec 2015, 4pm to midnight daily)
Blending festive cheer with carnival tradition, the ornate
, a spectacular rare fairground attraction, returns with a one-of-a-kind dining experience where you can indulge in a specially curated festive menu as well as a weekend brunch experience by Singapore’s most well-established bar and dining chain Harry’s. Dishes on the menu include Harry’s Merry Wings, Cajun Spice-rubbed Turkey, Smoked Duck Breast with Marmalade Glaze, Rudolph’s Gingerbread and Raspberry Sundae. The century-old travelling ‘mirror tent’ from the Netherlands is made up of 1,000 pieces of brocade draperies, stained glass, wood and intricate artwork.
The food in the Spiegeltent starts from S$9 and Weekend Brunch Menu at S$35 with one main course and selections from a buffet.
