DESCRIPTION:The Food Bank Singapore invites you to help close the hunger gap through the Hunger Gap Walkathon\, its nationwide virtual walkathon\, turning your daily steps into meaningful support for those in need. It aims to raise S$400\,000 through the virtual walkathon signups for three programmes that support those who face quiet\, everyday compromises in accessing food. \n\n\n\nProgrammeWhat it offersJoy In Every Bundle ProgrammeProvides grocery support for seniors and lower-income householdsBack-to-School Support ProgrammeOffers food and stationery support for school-going children from lower-income famlilesMeals Forward ProgrammeProvides prepaid meal credits redeemable at selected F&B partner outlets for tertiary students from lower-income households\n\n\n\nIndividuals 13 years and older\, families and corporate teams may sign up and walk in solidarity with those facing food insecurity across Singapore over a two-month period. Walk anytime\, anywhere\, and track your progress via Strava. Each registered participant will receive a thoughtfully curated walk pack designed to fuel the journey – a Food Bank Singapore tote bag\, a walkathon shirt\, a welcome card\, and a curated selection of four food\, snack\, and drink items. Items will vary across packs in a fun blind-bag format.  \n\n\n\nRegister online from 29 April to 30 June 2026 online and walk from 29 May to 31 July 2026. The fully virtual event allows you to walk anytime\, anywhere across Singapore. Distances are tracked via Strava\, where total kilometres walked and funds raised will be reflected in real time on the walkathon website leaderboard.
