They will feature popular and creative renditions of Irish Duck dishes from Silver Hill Duck.  \n\n\n\nSilver Hill Duck has been breeding ducks since 1962\, while remaining true to time-honoured farming practices that epitomises integrity in sustainable and responsible farming. The cultivated hybrid of the Peking and Aylesbury Duck is specially bred for its high fat-to-meat ratio and porous skin that are succulent\, tender\, full of flavour and consistent in quality. They are often referred to as “The Wagyu of Ducks” because of their high-fat content that melts easily in the mouth\, just like the well-marbled Japanese beef.  \n\n\n\nDuckland Roast Irish Duck (Half portion)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDuckland\n\n\n\nThe ‘farm to fork’ concept emphasises on serving robust dishes using fresh and premium ducks from Silver Hill Duck. It will spotlight the signature Roast Irish Duck in whole duck or half duck portions at both its Paya Lebar Quarter (S$68++ and S$35+ respectively) and Resorts World Sentosa (S$70++ and S$38++ respectively). The duck is served with raspberry sauce\, calamansi chilli and yellow mustard. On the promotional menu is also a Duck Confit & Waffle (S$21.50++) that features a whole duck leg and waffles served with poached egg as well as Wagyu Duck Donburi (S$16.80++) in a generous serving and portion.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLondon Fat Duck\n\n\n\nThe Hong Kong-style restaurant serves roast ducks that marry the premium quality of the Silver Hill Duck with chef’s secret duck roasting technique and heritage recipe. The selection—composed of recommendations from four collaborating publishing houses who champion local literary voices—is sprawling in genre and spirit: from emerging voices to seasoned authors\, and short stories to novels and poetry. The featured writers include Pooja Nansi\, Melissa De Silva\, Amanda Chong\, Stephanie Chan\, and Annaliza Bakri. \n\n\n\nAesop Women’s Library at Marina Bay Sands (Aesop photo)\n\n\n\nThe ephemeral library will allow customers visiting the stores to select a complimentary book of their choice—with no purchase required. DESCRIPTION:Rum Bellion\, Singapore’s first and largest rum festival returns after 2 years of hiatus due to Covid-19 restrictions. Taking place on 5 June 2022 from 1 pm till late at Keong Saik Road inside and outside Heart of Darkness.  \n\n\n\nHighlights of Rum Bellion 2022 include the launch of the 22-year-old limited-edition Plantation Single Cask 2021 Jamaica 1998. The rum is distilled at Long Pond Distillery in 1998\, then aged 20 years in Bourbon casks. It is then matured for another two years in Ferrand casks\, and finally finished 10 months in Bardstown Fusion Series Bourbon casks.
