Today is the day Marriott International expands to include 30 hotel brands with the addition of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Portfolio. That translates to over 5,700 hotels and 1.1 million rooms in over 110 countries around the world.

Link Your Marriott Rewards and SPG Accounts

With two loyalty programmes from the merger, Marriott International is allowing members of Marriott Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest to link their accounts to enjoy benefits, recognition and experiences each programme has to offer. Even get your membership status matched across programmes or transfer and redeem points across programmes. Three Marriott Rewards Points can be transferred to one SPG Starpoint. Global Travel Day

On 14 October 2016 at New York City’s Rockefeller Centre, a 4,140 square foot interactive map showcasing Marriott’s over 5,700 properties worldwide will be unveiled to celebrate Global Travel Day. Loyalty members in the US will have the chance to win one of 30 travel packages through a social media sweepstakes.
