AirAsia X to Lease Six Airbus A330-300 Aircraft From ILFC

9 August 2012, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Long Haul, low cost carrier AirAsia X intends to lease six Airbus A330-300 on a 10 year lease term from International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) which are scheduled for delivery in the next two years.  AirAsia X have also purchased directly from Airbus the same model with the Rolls Royce Trent 700 engines with a maximum take-off weight of 233 tonnes.

AirAsia X operates a fleet of nine Airbus A330-300s with a seat configuration of 12 Premium Flatbeds and 365 Economy seats to 13 destinations across seven countries including China, Australia, Taiwan, Iran, Korean, Japan and Nepal.
