ANA Introduces New Menu on North American and European Sectors

20 August 2012, Tokyo – ANA Group, Japan’s largest Airline is introducing new menus for its First and Business Class on international flights between Japan and North American and Japan and European routes. These menus are created together with renowned culinary establishments in Tokyo and Paris. The new menus will allow passengers to enjoy Japan’s exceptional originality and flourishing innovative spirit.

Recreating Sekiyou’s distinctive breakfast, this menu includes whitebait rice, simmered alfonsino and thick rolled egg amongst other dishes and will be available on flights from September till November 2012 for Business Class passengers on routes from Japan to North American and Europe. This menu is available after the first meal service as one of the à la carte choices offered before arrival.

Business Class passengers on routes from Japan to North American and Europe will be able to choose this as one of the à la carte choices before arrival from December 2012 to February 2013. This menu is currently under design at time of publishing this article.

The “Picasso of Pastry” has designed a new range of exclusive desserts that can be savoured only on ANA flights by First and Business Class passengers.

These desserts are available from September till November 2012 on routes from Japan to North America and Europe. They will be offered as the final course of the first in-flight meal. First Class passengers can choose from the Whisky-Flavoured Baba, Mogador Delight or the Mont-Blanc my way while Business Class passengers will be able to enjoy the desserts on a monthly basis – Ispahan (September), Satine (October), Infiniment chocolat (November)
