Jetstar Asia Resumes Transit with Air France, KLM & British Airways at Changi Airport

Jetstar Asia (3K) welcomes back Air France, KLM and British Airways to its international carrier partnerships. Customers will be able to seamlessly connect between the low cost carrier’s Southeast Asian network and the European airline’s global network via Changi Airport.

Air France, KLM and British Airways join Emirates, which was the first Jetstar codeshare partner to recommence transit passengers via Singapore on 15 April. Transit between Jetstar Asia and British Airways flights will commence from 25 August 2021.

Customers travelling to/from Europe on these full-service carriers can once again transfer to a Jetstar Asia (3K) service in Singapore and travel to any of the ten destinations it currently operates to Bangkok, Clark, Ho Chi Minh City (for inbound services to Singapore from Ho Chi Minh City only), Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Penang, Phnom Penh, Phuket (services to/from Phuket will commence from 3 September 2021) and Surabaya.

Transiting travellers must book their entire journey in one booking and check with the relevant authorities to ensure they meet all the relevant entry requirements for their final destination as restrictions may apply. Transiting customers will be checked through at their first international departure point for the onward connecting service at Changi. While onboard Jetstar Asia, these customers will enjoy a meal or snack and the same luggage allowance as on their full-service carrier flight.

Jetstar’s Fly Well safety measures offer Jetstar Asia passengers an added layer of protection and demonstrate the airline’s commitment to keeping customers safe.

“Jetstar Asia’s longstanding partnerships with Air France, KLM and British Airways will provide more exciting travel opportunities for our customers and a significant boost in the revival of Singapore’s air travel hub,”

Clive Ashmore Butler, Head of Commercial and Alliances, Jetstar Asia
