Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd opened its first office in Singapore with a dedicated local team to drive forward the regional growth for the company’s three brands. It will support the three brands and key sales functions to serve travel agents across the region.

Norwegian Cruise Line offers contemporary freestyle cruising. Oceania Cruises is an upper-premium cruise line while Regent Seven Sea Cruises offer a luxury all-inclusive experience.

Norwegian Cruise Line returns to Asia for the first time since 2002 with the maiden call of Norwegian Star in Singapore in December 2016. It will offer six sailings until March 2017.

Five new ships across the three brands will be introduced over the next four years and US$525 million will be spent on fleet enhancements.  NCL operates 23 ships offering around 45,800 lower berths and visit more than 510 destinations around the world.

From March 2016 to April 2017, NCLH’s fleet across its three signature brands will sail 45 itineraries throughout Asia. Ports of call include a range of exciting destinations across Asia Pacific, such as Singapore, Colombo, Hong Kong, Incheon, Jeju, Kyoto (Kobe), Mumbai, Nagasaki, Okinawa (Naha), Shanghai, Tianjin (Beijing), Tokyo, Xiamen, and Yangon amongst others.

Norwegian Escape launched late last year, heralding the rise of a new premium-contemporary cruise segment. Oceania Cruises’ new Sirena joins the fleet in April 2016 offering The Finest Cuisine at Sea. Five more new ships will be built by 2020. These include the recently announced dedicated ship for China – Norwegian Joy and Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ highly anticipated Seven Seas Explorer, the most luxurious ship ever built – featuring the largest and most luxurious, all-suite, all-balcony accommodations at sea.
