Scoot is rolling out more initiative to offer customers a better experience including enhanced ScootBiz, inflight Wi-Fi, revamped ScooTV that streams to personal devices, Web Check-In and Scoot-to-Gate as well as PlusPerks.
ScootBiz offers at the front of Scoot’s all Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet a roomy full-leather cradle seat with a 38” seat pitch, 22” width, 8” recline and fully adjustable headrests and legrests.
Enhanced ScootBiz offers new benefits such as 30kg of checked-in baggage up from 20kg, two pieces of cabin baggage up to 15kg, Hot/light or premium meal with one choice of drink, ScooTV inflight entertainment streaming to personal devices where available, In-seat power, priority check-in and boarding, priority disembarkation where available.
Inflight connectivity is available to guests at US$11.95 for one hour, US$16.95 for three hours, US$21.95 for 24 hours. Scoot’s inflight Wi-FI can be purchased before and on-board the flight, with no data usage limit within each session.
ScooTV streaming inflight entertainment service now offers Hollywood and Asian movies, popular TV series and kids programming onto your own devices including mobile phones and tablets. ScooTV is offered complimentary in ScootBiz while all other guests can pay US$11 to enjoy it for the duration of each flight sector.
If you are flying on Scoot from Singapore, check in online to avoid the long queues at check-in counters. And if you have no check-in baggage or document check requirements can make use of Scoot-to-Gate, by passing airport counters and clear departure immigration directly and onward to boarding.
Airport transfers, hotel bookings and purchase of travel insurance are now available within the “Manage my booking” function on flyscoot.com or Scoot’s mobile app.
Scoot recently introduced PlusPerks bundle that lets you earn KrisFlyer miles on eligible fares, select preferred seats that also include extra legroom where available, priority check in and boarding privileges. You can also make one flight or name change without having to pay and fees. The fee for the bundle per person per flight is priced at S$39 for short haul flights and S$59 for long haul flights.
