Profile of Boys’ Town:

Boys’ Town is a charitable institution founded by the Brothers of St. Gabriel in 1948 to work with youth-at-risk, between the ages of 11-18, and their families providing Residential, Outreach, School-based and Community-based programmes and services to youths from mainly disadvantaged backgrounds.  Boys’ Town’s mission is to help youth-at-risk become socially integrated, responsible and contributing members of society.

These boys are housed in buildings which are more than 60 years old and there are cracks, leaks, damaged floor tiles and inadequate shower/toilet facilities in the boys’ dormitories.  There is an immediate need to upgrade the facilities for the boys so that they can receive better care during their stay.
