Guinness By The Decades At Mint Museum of Toys

Remember the trademark red-tongued dog or ‘Ang Ji Kao’ on Guinness beer packaging? Did you know, Guinness used the red-tongued Alsatian dog for the Singapore market while Malaysian and Indonesian used the bulldog and seated cat respectively in their advertising materials.

Learn more about Guinness history and heritage at the Guinness by the Decades’ exhibition which will run from till 30 September at the Mint Museum of Toys. Launched in conjunction with the global celebration Guinness Aurther’s Day, the exhibition takes you through a collection of more than fifty premiums and advertising materials dating back from 1900s. The collection features artefacts sourced from countries including China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Scotland and England.
