Two new features have been added to this edition of the popular cash hunt game – Places of Interest and Hunting Stops. Places of Interest offers players bite-sized historical, cultural or future-facing facts about nearby locales, when GPS is enabled.

Hunting Stops encourages players to explore the heartlands via public transport. Hunting Stops are located at selected bus stops and heartland zones across Singapore. Perform simple in-game actions such as tickling Sqkii & Friends to receive rewards including DBS Crystals and power-ups to get ahead in the game even when not physically hunting for game coins. Visit the special DBS Hunting Stops located at selected heartland zones to get enhanced in-game rewards.

Daily hints will be released on Sqkii’s Instagram and Facebook at 6pm daily for one specific DBS Heartland coin. The real-time map on the game website also lets you locate other game coins and exchange them for cash. Circles on the in-game map, which indicate possible DBS Heartland game coin locations, will shrink every 30 minutes between 8 am to midnight.

Use three powerups by performing simple actions at Hunting Stops to earn Crystals to activate these powerups. Circle Shrink reduces the size of the search circle, narrowing the possible coin location. Coin Sonar scans the surrounding area in selectable ranges of 25, 50, or 100 metres, using Crystals for each scan and giving instant feedback on whether the coin is within range. Metal Detector works inside any game coin circle, turning the player’s phone into a detector for one minute, with visual cues indicating proximity as they move around.
