SG60 Celebrations Light Up Changi Airport & Jewel This July & August

As Singapore turns 60, Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Jewel Changi Airport are set to transform July and August into months of celebration with a rich programme of events themed “Together, We Make Magic.” From a homecoming concert to a charity walk and spectacular floral installations, the festivities celebrate the shared memories, community, and growth of the nation and its iconic gateway.

Sing Along at the SG60 Homecoming Concert

  • Where: Jewel’s Shiseido Forest Valley
  • Who’s Performing: Stefanie Sun, Kit Chan, Sezairi, Regina Song, The Freshman, SuperSonic

Celebrate National Day with an all-out local sing-along. This free concert will be ticketed via a ballot system. Keep an eye on Changi Airport’s socials in early July to snag yours.


Changi SG60 Charity Walk for a Cause

  • When: 27 July 2025
  • Route: From Terminal 2 Race Village to Terminal 4 via a glowing SG60-themed path
  • Registration: Early bird closes 30 June | Final sign-up by 23 July
  • Cause: Proceeds support Community Chest programmes

Participants will receive race packs with an event tee, eco-bag, retail vouchers, and more. Finishers are rewarded with a special mini-plush keychain and medal. A virtual run challenge is also available for those unable to attend in person.

Light-Up on Changi Boulevard

From 28 July, the drive down Airport Boulevard becomes a visual spectacle. Expect a grand arch in red and white, flanked by imagery of the Merlion, Gardens by the Bay, and the iconic Dragon Playground – evoking memories of six decades of Singaporean progress.


A Floral Tribute to the Nation

Terminal 3:

  • From 21 July, a 270 sqm orchid garden showcases the Vanda Miss Joaquim and other Singaporean hybrids. The centrepiece? A towering 7-metre orchid sculpture.

Terminal 2:

  • Spot a 6-metre floral Merlion, featuring 60 species of plants including installations of nostalgic snacks like curry puffs.

Jewel:

  • 1 to 31 August, Jewel’s Forest Valley will bloom with 1,200 orchids in red and white, including a special hybrid: Dendrobium Jewel Changi Airport, commemorating Jewel’s 5th anniversary.

Light & Music Showcase at Jewel

5 Jewel Light Music Show

Jewel’s indoor rain vortex will feature a special edition light show all through August, set to Kit Chan’s beloved anthem “Home (1998)”. With elegant watercolour visuals of Singaporean icons, the show will run at:

  • 8:00pm and 9:00pm daily
  • Extra 10:00pm show on Fridays to Sundays

Step Through Time at Changi Experience Studio

From 1 August to 31 October, the “Evolution of Travel” pop-up at Changi Experience Studio charts the transformation of air travel, from brick-and-mortar agencies to today’s AI-powered digital journeys. Entry promos include:

  • 6 tickets for S$60
  • Seniors aged 60+: S$6 ticket

Expect interactive exhibits, airport history, and a look at how airline dining has evolved through the decades.


SG60 Retail and Dining Exclusives

Across Changi and Jewel, nearly 60 retailers and F&B outlets will offer SG60-exclusive deals, menus and experiences. Don’t miss out on curated shopping, limited-edition souvenirs, and new local bites created for the season.
