York Hotel Celebrates 40 Years of Penang Hawkers’ Fare This March

York Hotel Singapore marks the 40th milestone of its long-running Penang Hawkers’ Fare, returning from 13 to 29 March 2026 at White Rose Café. First launched in 1986, the tri-annual promotion has built a loyal following among diners seeking authentic Penang street food without leaving Singapore.
For this anniversary edition, familiar hawkers from Penang will once again prepare a line-up of classic favourites cooked à la minute. Diners can expect signature dishes such as Char Kway Teow, Penang Laksa, Oyster Omelette, Nasi Lemak with Inche Kabin, and crowd-pleasing desserts including Ice Kachang and Chendol.
Adding a celebratory twist, guests who spend S$200 in a single receipt during the promotion will receive a chance to participate in the “Twist-and-Turn” instant draw, with hotel vouchers and limited-edition collectibles up for grabs.
