Pokémon fans have another reason to visit Jewel Changi Airport this July. Pokémon Centre SINGAPORE officially reopens on 1 July 2026 after a three-month refurbishment, unveiling a completely refreshed retail experience inspired by Singapore’s cultural heritage, together with new exclusive merchandise created specially for Singapore.

Since opening in 2019, Pokémon Centre SINGAPORE has been the first permanent Pokémon retail store outside Japan in Asia. The latest makeover introduces a brighter, more immersive shopping environment designed for both local fans and international visitors.

Solgaleo, the Legendary Pokémon from Pokémon Sun, is known as the “Beast That Devours the Sun” and is recognised for its lion-like form and radiant, sun-inspired mane. A Psychic and Steel type Pokémon, Solgaleo has long been associated with light, power and the sun, making it a fitting new symbol for the refreshed Pokémon Centre SINGAPORE. At the revamped Jewel Changi Airport store, Solgaleo now appears on the Singapore Edition logo pin and stands at the façade alongside Pikachu, giving the Singapore flagship a stronger visual identity.
A Store Inspired by Singapore

The redesigned interior incorporates familiar local touches throughout the store. Shelving and decorative elements reference Singapore’s traditional architecture, while one display pays tribute to local hawker and food court culture. Visitors will also find a new ocean-themed event space featuring the Water-type Pokémon Vaporeon, adding more photo opportunities throughout the store.
Rather than simply updating its appearance, the refreshed concept gives Pokémon Centre SINGAPORE a stronger local identity while remaining recognisable to Pokémon fans visiting from around the world.
