21 February 2012, Singapore – Online competitive intelligence service Experian Hitwise shares their analysis of web searches by internet users in Singapore last year.

Here are the findings on Fashion from Experian’s inaugural one-year online analysis.

  • UK fashion brand ASOS is top in Singapore with a 13.22% share of visits in the fashion and lifestyle category. This is in comparison to Forever 21‘s 4.03% share which also has a brick and mortar business model here.
  • ASOS emerged the top search term followed by H&M, Forever 21 and Uniqlo alongside luxury brands such as Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, Longchamp, Prada and Gucci (based on 12 rolling weeks that ended 31 December 2011)
  • LookBook.nu‘s fashion diaries of people and HypeBeast online fashion & lifestyle magazine came in third and fourth in the category.
  • Singaporeans are interested in luxury apparel and accessories. Chinese website BaoTime topped the list at number one at 7.05%. Online off-season luxury goods sale site Reebonz climbed to fourth place at 2.82%.
  • Love Bonita claims the title of most popular blog shop here. It has a visit share of 2.89% in the blog shop category.
