After a decade-long hiatus, Singapore is set to host the return of Le Dîner en Blanc—the world’s most exclusive all-white picnic. On 6 September 2025, 3,000 elegantly dressed guests will gather at a yet-to-be-revealed location in the Lion City, reviving a global tradition with new local flair and international prestige.
This year’s edition is not just a comeback. It marks a historic first for the global event: the debut of an official partnership with Moët & Chandon, and it’s happening in Singapore, not Paris or New York. It’s a bold statement about the city’s place on the global stage of culture, style, and luxury experiences.
The Return of a Legend
Founded in Paris in 1988, Le Dîner en Blanc has been hosted in more than 120 cities worldwide. Its recipe is equal parts secrecy, spectacle and spontaneity. Guests dressed entirely in white bring their own meals, tableware and décor, and convene at a surprise location only revealed moments before. The result is a pop-up celebration of elegance and unity that feels more like a live dream than a dinner party.
In 2012, Singapore became the first Asian city to host the event, thanks to Dr Clemen Chiang. Fast forward to 2025, and this year’s revival is spearheaded by Chiang Yee, appointed by global founder Sandy Safi, making him the youngest ever host in Le Dîner en Blanc’s 35-year history.
“This isn’t just a return, it’s a renaissance,” said Chiang Yee. “We’re reimagining timeless elegance through a Singaporean lens.”
Nicole Yee, founder of CozyCot, joins as the creative lead on fashion and beauty partnerships, underscoring a modern sensibility that blends French heritage with Singapore’s unique cultural fabric.
Champagne, Heritage, and Modern Magic
The biggest news? The event’s exclusive collaboration with Moët & Chandon, a move that elevates the soirée to new levels of glamour. This marks the maison’s first official partnership with Le Dîner en Blanc anywhere in the world. According to Julian Quintero, General Manager of Moët Hennessy Diageo Singapore: “It’s a marriage of French art de vivre with Singapore’s vibrant elegance. A moment of global firsts.”
Adding to the sense of grandeur, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore will play a supporting role in the evening’s narrative, connecting heritage with contemporary opulence.
Larger Than Ever, Yet True to Its Roots
With 3,000 attendees, this will be Singapore’s largest Dîner en Blanc to date. Despite its scale, the principles of equality and shared artistry remain. Guests will dine side by side, including media invitees. There are no VIP tables, no backstage exclusives. The experience is designed to be collective and democratic.
Even as luxury evolves, Le Dîner en Blanc offers something refreshingly intangible: shared memories, spontaneity, and a touch of magic. It’s about pausing modern life for one extraordinary night, and doing it together.
What’s Next?
More details, including participating maisons, design collaborators and surprise performances, will be announced at the official media launch in July. Until then, interested guests can register their interest on the official website.
In a world of oversaturation and overstimulation, Le Dîner en Blanc Singapore 2025 promises a return to grace, beauty, and wonder. For one night only, dressed in white, surrounded by strangers turned companions, Singapore will become a living painting, lit by candlelight, united by joy, and toasted with champagne.
