SingTel is the first mobile operator in the world to offer a commercial 300Mbps 4G service to all existing SingTel 4G subscribers. With SingTel expanding coverage for its cutting-edge LTE-Advanced networks and the new Huawei E5786 mobile MiFi device, now you can enjoy ultra-fast data speeds of up to 300Mbps on-the-go. The Huawei E5786 mobile MiFi device will be available from 24 July via SingTel’s retail outlets and online shop (www.singtelshop.com) at S$399. You can also purchase it at a discounted price of S$168 with any SingTel 24-month mobile broadband plan.
In addition to the Huawei E5786, other LTE-Advanced enabled devices, including smartphones and tablets, will be available from SingTel in the coming months. All SingTel 4G customers with compatible devices will be able to enjoy the 300Mbps service at no extra charge.
Update on LTE-Advanced roll-out
SingTel is rapidly expanding its LTE-Advanced network, including outdoor and in-building locations. Coverage is currently available at Changi Airport, Singapore Expo and the area around Bugis MRT station.
SingTel customers can expect coverage in the CBD, Orchard, Shenton Way and City Hall areas by the end of August. More than half of the island will be covered by the end of October and nationwide coverage is expected by the end of the first quarter of 2015.
