Sony Electronics (Singapore) has announced the expansion of its CFexpress Type A Memory Card lineup with two new models: the CEA-G480T (480GB) and CEA-G240T (240GB). These additions complement the existing CEA-G1920T (1920GB) and CEA-G960T (960GB) cards, offering professionals and advanced enthusiasts greater flexibility to match their specific storage needs.
Both the 480GB and 240GB cards deliver impressive performance, achieving read speeds above 1,800 MB/s and write speeds up to 1,700 MB/s. This level of speed supports demanding workflows such as high-resolution still photography, 4K and 8K video recording, and fast data transfer. They are compatible with selected Sony Cinema Line and Alpha mirrorless cameras, including the ILCE-7M4, ILCE-7SM3, ILCE-7RM5, ILCE-1, ILCE-1M2, ILCE-9M3, FX6, FX3, FX30, FX2, FR7 and PXW-Z200. Together with the larger-capacity models released earlier, the new cards give users a complete set of options to address different shooting scenarios
