Singapore Arts Festival: Look at Love in a Different Light 男男自语

14 May 2012, Singapore – The Singapore Arts Festival returns this year from 18 May to 2 June 2012.   One of the opening shows for the season, 男男自语, which is translated from  “A Language of Their Own” written by Singaporean Chay Yew will be performed from 18 to 20 May at the Esplanade Theatre Studio.

Exploring love, lies and loss through a new language, A Language of Their Own first debut in New York in 1995 making to the Singapore stage 11 years later.    The plot revolves around four guys, Ming, Oscar, Robert and Daniel who are entangled in a web of passion, loving and hating one another but returning to the place where they first started – a place of love and understanding.

The cast is made up of Nelson Chia, Loo Zihan, Robin Goh and Timothy Nga.   If you have loved and lost or love a good love story, 男男自语 should not be missed.

Tickets are available from SISTIC at S$36.  There is a post-show dialogue after the performance on 18 and 19 May at 8pm.
