10 September 2012, Singapore – Last night 14 ladies took to the stage to compete for the beauty pageant title and crown of Miss Universe Singapore 2012 at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore’s Island Ballroom.

Winner & Reigning Miss Universe Singapore 2012 – Lynn Tan
Winning the crown is 24 year old mergers and acquisitions associate Lynn Tan. A lady of confidence, Lynn is poised and answered her question during the Q&A with conviction quoting Mother Theresa “Reach high for stars like hidden in your soul. Dream deep because every dream precedes the goal” . Lynn is 1.71m tall and her statistics are 34(B), 26(W) and 35(H). Lynn has previously won the Star Model Singapore Award at the Asia Model Festival Awards 2012 in Seoul as well as the FHM Model of the Year 2011 competition. She has also previously modeled for La Perla, Millionaire Asia Runway, as well as the First Media Design Runway at Hilton.
First Runner Up – Nowreen Khan
24-year-old Business Management student, Nowreen Khan emerged as the first runner up. She is the tallest of the 14 girls at 1.77m and her statistics are 32(B), 24(W) and 38(H). She hopes to be the face for the less favoured in the third world countries should she win the pageant. Nowreen is also a member of the Amnesty Organization for Human Rights.
Second Runner Up – Louissa Thomas
23 year old double major student Louissa Thomas is 1.65m tall and her statistics are 31(B), 23(W), 33(H). Louissa is not new to the world of pageantry and was a finalist in The New Paper New Face in 2010.
