Singapore Fashion Week returns 26 to 30 October 2016. It has also acquired Digital FashionWeek targetted at young designers with an emphasis on online and social media. Singapore Fashion Week’s content will be amplified on digitalfashionweek.com.

Singapore Fashion Week Access, a new industry-support platform, has been created to support the Singapore fashion industry. Designers and businesses will exhibit their collections in smaller scale, flexible format fashion presentations.

Influencers from the SFW Ambassadors and DFW Insiders programme will amplify SFW content and campaigns with #SGFWSocial.

National Gallery Singapore is this year’s official event partner. This year’s SFW will feature fresh new format to the shows with a curved runway, moving away from the conventional theatre-style seating. It can accommodate 400 front row seats.

Pre Event activities before the actual show include

  • LASALLE Graduate Fashion Show 2016 on 5 May in collaboration with TANGS
  • Official Makeup, NARS, will host the NARS Beauty Breakfast on 8 May together with #Girlboss panel, Jaime Lee, founder and designer of homegrown paper goods company, The Paper Bunny, Charmaine Seah-Ong, Co-founder of Elementary and Aarika Lee, Marketing Director of Elementary. Rachel Lim, Co-founder of Love Bonito, will moderate the session.
  • Official Skincare, SK-II, is collaborating with three #SGFWSocial influencers – Yoyo Cao, international style icon and designer of local label, exhibit, Arissa Cheo, IT girl and fashion entrepreneur and Jaime Lee, founder of The Paper Bunny – to create limited edition premiums in celebration of SFW which will be available from 2 May.

The SFW Patrons Programme allows people who are passionate about fashion and keen on supporting the local fashion industry to actively engage the SFW while being involved in the community. This programme will launch in June this year with three different tiers of exclusive privileges:

  • Prêt-à-porter ($1,000) membership
  • Premier class Privé Circle ($2,500)
  • By-exclusive-invitation-only Couture Club ($10,000)

Patrons will enjoy privileges including VIP access to SFW, designer dinners and private shopping events.
